Deliveries & Orders
How orders work, PIN verification, issues, and cancellations.
When you are online, you will receive delivery requests with details including the pickup address, drop-off address, estimated distance, and fee. You can choose to accept or decline each request.
Once accepted, the flow is:
- Navigate to pickup — follow the in-app directions.
- Collect the package — confirm collection in the app.
- Navigate to drop-off — deliver the parcel.
- Complete delivery — enter the customer’s PIN code to confirm handover.
- Take a proof photo (optional) — for delivery confirmation.
PIN verification is a security feature that ensures parcels are delivered to the right person. When you arrive at the drop-off location, the customer will provide you with a unique PIN code that was sent to them when the order was created. Enter this PIN in the app to confirm the delivery.
If the customer cannot provide the PIN, contact support through the app for assistance.
If the customer is not at the drop-off location:
- Try contacting them through the in-app chat.
- Wait at least 5 minutes (waiting charges will apply).
- If they still do not respond, tap Customer Unavailable in the app.
Our support team will guide you on the next steps, which may include returning the parcel or leaving it in a safe place as instructed.
You can cancel an accepted order before picking up the package. Go to the active delivery screen and tap the menu for cancellation options. Please note that frequent cancellations may affect your account standing and order priority.
Once you have collected the package, cancellation is not possible — you must complete the delivery or contact support.
Lasta handles document envelopes, small packages, and medium parcels. Each vehicle type has specific size and weight limits. You should not accept deliveries of:
- Illegal or prohibited items.
- Hazardous materials or flammable goods.
- Items exceeding the weight limit for your vehicle type.
- Cash or high-value uninsured items.
If a package is damaged during transit, report it immediately through the app by going to the delivery details and tapping Report an Issue. Take photos of the damage for documentation. Our team will investigate and determine the appropriate resolution.
Always handle packages with care and use appropriate containers or bags.
Scheduled deliveries are orders that customers book in advance for a specific date and time. These orders appear in your incoming requests at the scheduled time. Scheduled deliveries often pay the same or more than on-demand orders and can help you plan your day more effectively.
