In Irish Gaelic, "Lasta" means "load", and the word's own history carries more than this. It traces back to the Old English lād, meaning a course or a journey, the root it still shares with "lode," as in a lodestar guiding someone home. That's exactly what we set out to build: a Dublin-born delivery service that carries the weight and knows the way. We chose a name from Ireland's own language on purpose, not another global platform bolted onto a local market, but something made for Dublin, run in Dublin, by people who chose to put down roots here.
