Earnings & Payments
How fees work, when you get paid, tips, and invoices.
Delivery fees are calculated based on several factors:
- Base fee — a fixed amount per delivery that varies by vehicle type.
- Distance — a per-kilometre rate from pickup to drop-off.
- Waiting charges — if you wait more than 5 minutes at a pickup or drop-off, additional charges apply.

Earnings are paid weekly to the bank account linked in your app. The payment cycle runs Monday to Sunday, with payouts processed every Tuesday. Funds typically arrive in your account within 1-2 business days after processing.
You can view your earnings breakdown and payment history in the Earnings tab of the app.
Customers can tip you through the Lasta app after their delivery is completed. Tips are 100% yours — Lasta does not take any commission on tips. Tips are included in your weekly payout and shown separately in your earnings breakdown.
To download your invoices:
- Go to the Earnings tab in the Lasta Driver app.
- Tap on Previous Payments.
- Select the payment period you need.
- Tap Download Invoice to get a PDF.
Invoices include a breakdown of all deliveries, fees, tips, and any deductions for the period.
If you believe there is an error with your earnings for a specific delivery, you can dispute it through the app. Go to Earnings > Delivery History, select the delivery in question, and tap Report an Issue. Our team will review and respond within 48 hours.
If you have to wait more than 5 minutes at a pickup or drop-off location, you begin earning a waiting charge. This compensates you for your time. The waiting timer is shown in the app and the charge is automatically added to your delivery fee.
As a self-employed delivery partner, you are responsible for managing your own tax affairs. This includes registering with Revenue, filing annual tax returns, and setting aside money for income tax and PRSI/USC.
We recommend consulting an accountant or using Revenue’s online resources. The invoices available in the app can help you track your income for tax purposes.
Lasta is committed to full fee transparency. Before you accept any delivery order, you will always see:
- The total delivery fee for the order.
- The pickup and drop-off addresses so you can judge the route.
- The estimated distance from pickup to drop-off.
The fee is based on the base rate, distance, and your vehicle type. There are no hidden charges — what you see is what you earn, plus any tips and waiting charges that may apply. You can review the breakdown of every completed delivery in the Earnings tab of the app.
